Treatment of IgAN

RESEARCH PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS LIST:
• ACE- Inhibition in proteinuric IgAN of the young (IgACE): multicenter
randomized, placebo controlled trail for Ace-inhibition (Benazepril) in moderately
proteinuric young (<35 years) IgA nephropathy patients (Ref 5)
• Recurrence of IgAN after transplantation: Genetic and Immunological
factors, focusing on IgA aberrant glycosylation- in recurrence of IgA nephropathy
after renal transplantation (Ongoing project)
• Modulation of IgA1 glycosylation in IgAN patients on MMF (starting
project).
• Modulation of transcriptional factors in patients on MMF (starting
project)

with aberrantly glycosylated IgA1
